Numbers That Tell Real Stories

Behind every percentage and metric sits an actual business owner who trusted us with their financial future. We've been building scenario models since 2019, and these aren't vanity numbers—they represent real decisions, tough conversations, and futures shaped by better planning.

How We Got Here

Started in a shared office space with two consultants and a whiteboard. Now we're helping businesses across New South Wales plan for futures they actually want.

March 2019

The Beginning

Launched with a simple idea: most financial scenario planning was either too complex to understand or too simple to be useful. We wanted something in between. Started with eight clients who were willing to take a chance on us.

November 2020

Finding Our Rhythm

The pandemic forced everyone to think differently about financial planning. We adapted our models to handle uncertainty better—not by predicting the future, but by preparing for multiple versions of it. Client base grew to 47 businesses.

June 2022

Expanding Capacity

Moved to our Tweed Heads location and brought on three more analysts. Started specializing in retail and hospitality sectors because that's where we saw the biggest need for flexible scenario planning.

February 2024

Recognition

NSW Small Business Financial Services Award nomination. More importantly, we hit 200 active clients and maintained an average relationship length of 2.8 years—which matters more to us than any trophy.

Present Day

Looking Forward

Working with 287 businesses across Queensland and New South Wales. Our focus for 2025 is making scenario modeling more accessible to smaller operations—the ones who need it most but often can't afford traditional consulting.

What We've Accomplished Together

These numbers represent actual client outcomes. Not cherry-picked success stories, but aggregated results from everyone we've worked with over the past six years.

Industry Recognition That Actually Means Something

We were shortlisted for the 2024 NSW Small Business Financial Services Award. Honestly, the nomination letter from our clients meant more than the ceremony itself.

What we're proudest of: maintaining an average client satisfaction score of 4.7 out of 5 over six consecutive quarters. That consistency matters because financial planning isn't about one brilliant insight—it's about being reliably helpful over time.

We've also been asked to present at three industry conferences in 2025, sharing what we've learned about making scenario modeling practical for businesses with limited financial expertise.

The People Behind the Numbers

Meet two of our senior analysts who've been with us since the early days. They've seen hundreds of businesses navigate major decisions.

Senior Financial Analyst

Joined us in 2020 after working at a traditional accounting firm where he got frustrated watching clients make decisions without really understanding their options. Specializes in retail scenario modeling and has helped over 90 businesses plan major expansions or contractions.

Siobhan Ashworth

Lead Scenario Strategist

Started with us in 2019 as our second hire. Spent previous years doing risk analysis for a bank, which taught her exactly what small businesses need that they're not getting. Known for explaining complex financial concepts using plain language that actually makes sense.

What the Data Actually Shows

We track outcomes obsessively. Not because we're control freaks, but because it's the only way to know if we're actually helping. Here's what six years of client work has taught us:

Businesses that run scenario models before major decisions report feeling significantly more confident. That doesn't mean their decisions always work out perfectly—markets are unpredictable—but they understand the risks they're taking and have backup plans ready.

The sweet spot for scenario planning is 8-14 months before a major change. Come to us too early and variables are too uncertain. Wait too long and you've already committed to a path that limits your options.

Where We're Headed

Our goal for the next two years is straightforward: make scenario modeling accessible to businesses that currently can't justify the cost. We're working on a streamlined service specifically for operations under twenty employees.

We're also expanding our educational work. Too many small business owners make financial decisions based on gut feeling because nobody's ever explained the alternatives in language they can understand.

Educational Workshops

Free quarterly sessions starting September 2025 covering financial scenario basics for new business owners.

Simplified Service Tier

Launching in early 2026—scenario modeling for smaller operations at a price point that actually makes sense.

Regional Expansion

Opening satellite offices in Brisbane and Gold Coast to better serve clients across Southeast Queensland.
